Suffolk Show 2010 surpassed expectations
Thousands flocked to this year's Suffolk Show, enjoying the glorious sunshine. Crowds estimated to have exceeded 90,000 over the two days, relished in experiencing the very best of Suffolk life at the county's 179th showcase event.
A great highlight of the Show was a parachute jump from display team the Red Devils followed by the display featuring an Apache helicopter from Wattisham, where troops simulated rearming and refueling the aricraft in a hostile environment.
With more than 800 trade stands and over 1,300 livestock entries there was plenty for people to do. It included everything from sheep dog displays and pig races through to show jumping and the Grand Parade.
The Adnams Food and Drink Experience was packed throughout the two days, while the cookery theatre drew in the crowds. Meanwhle the Flower and Garden Experience was particularly busy - with seven exhibitors who won medals at this year's Chelsea Flower Show all on display.
There were also plenty of fun activities for families and youngsters to get involved with. The Heart Sports Zone had a number of events, from golf and running races through to tag rugby and handball.
The fantastic weather helped to make the 2010 Suffolk Show one of the best yet!
