Nearly 80,000 people poured through the gates for the 2009 Suffolk Show - defying the gloomy economic climate.  Show Director, Peter Over, declared it 'A wonderful Show'

'The crowds have been fantastic and it is good to see that in these difficult times people have supported us and come back to the Show.  It's very gratifying for us as we work hard to put on a quality event and our visitors have responded.  The Show is a celebration of the best of Suffolk life - the farms, the produce, the traders and the people - it is a fantastic showcase for all that is great about the County.

"The highlight for me, as a farmer, is the Grand Parade of livestock, held in the Grand Ring on each day.  This year there seemed more animals than ever, it seemed to take ages to get them all into the Ring.  It is always a wonderful display and an amazing sight, reminding us of our agricultural roots.  It puts a smile on everyone's face."

Visitors from the area and beyond came to enjoy showcase displays, a wealth of interactive 'have a go' exhibits, a vast array of animals and some high quality, great value shopping at this year's event, proving that the Suffolk Show is a great day out for all the family, whatever the weather.

This year, visitors experienced the thrills and spills of the displays in our show rings, from the Bolddog Lings Display Team, the UK's top ranked motocross act, the acrobatics of Jive Pony and world-class show jumping.  Perhaps one of this year's highlights was the incredible Apache Helicopter landing in the Grand Ring, reminding visitors of the close links that the County has with the Armed Forces.

Trinity Park is not only the Home to the Suffolk Show but also to the award winning Conference and Events Centre, the region's premier conference and banqueting facility.
