One of the Show's most popular features and a celebration of the County's very best local produce, the Food and Drink Experience goes from strength to strength, continuing a partnership between the Suffolk Show and Adnams. 

Our Food and Drink Experience is a real treat for the senses, with the County's finest and award winning food and drink producers on show.  Taste buds will be tantalised with most stall holders offering the chance to try before you buy their local delicacies.  In fact a trip to the Food and Drink Experience is a veritable food adventure exploring meat, cheeses, chocolates, strawberries and cream and even oysters.

Treat yourself to a little tasty something as an indulgent snack or picnic, stock up on the finest seasonal fayre to take home.  What's more, our partnership with Adnams showcases their award winning ranges of wines and beer.  All in all a great food and drink experience.

New for 2009 is the Eat Suffolk cookery theatre sponsored by Healthy Ambitions Suffolk, a Suffolk Strategic Partnership initiative, that aims to make Suffolk the healthiest County in the UK.  Leading chefs from around the county along with Chris Gates, Master Chef 2009 finalist, will give seven 45 minute cookery demonstrations using seasonal local produce.  All the recipies will be packaged into a free glossy booklet to give away in the Cookery Theatre.  BBC Radio Suffolk husband and wife team, Mark Murphy and Lesley Dolphin will go into the Red Poll and Suffolk Sheep kitchens to our very own Suffolk Show style version of the popular TV series Ready Steady Cook.
