Flower and Garden Experience
Stunning floral displays and show gardens make the Flower and Garden Experience a delightful area to wander. This year's exhibition looks set to be even more extensive, with more displays and show gardens from some of the region's best known nurseries and top garden designers. This year we celebrate the 100th year of the Bonsai arriving in England and the Allotments Association will demonstrate what you can grow in an allotment space.
Leading grower David Matthewson has turned down RHS Chelsea this year in favour of exhibiting with us for the first time and the students from Otley College will once again transform an empty space into a garden in a time challenge during the two days.
A stunning purpose built 2m high silent arch of water installation will greet visitors to the Flower marquee. The structure is a contemporary twist to the classic water fountain and made by Miles Waterscapes.
The Flower Arrangement Competition offers classes for all ages and abilities. The theme for this year's Competition is 'Music.'
A handy plant 'Crèche' allows you to deposit your plant purchases free of charge to be collected later in the day, leaving you free to explore other parts of the Show. Situated close to the exit of the Flower Show, the Creche is open until 6.30pm
