Celebrate our food and drink
One of the Show's most popular features and a celebration of the County's very best local produce, the Food and Drink Experience goes from strength to strength, continuing a partnership between the Suffolk Show and Adnams.
Our Food and Drink Experience is a real treat for the senses, with the County's finest and award winning food and drink producers on show. Taste buds will be tantalised with most stall holders offering the chance to try before you buy their local delicacies. In fact a trip to the Food and Drink Experience is a veritable food adventure exploring meat, cheeses, chocolates, strawberries and cream and even oysters. Treat yourself to a little tasty something as an indulgent snack or picnic or stock up on the finest seasonal fayre to take home.
The drink courtyard will feature the Adnams mobile “Beach Hut” and the Adnams Boat Bar bringing a taste of Adnams and Southwold to customers at the Suffolk Show. The Beach Hut will showcase a selection of products from Adnams award winning Cellar & Kitchen stores and will offer free wine and beer tasting and advice.
The Cookery Theatre will have an impressive line up of chef's demonstrating how we can cook local produce. Galton Blackiston from Morston Hall, Norfolk will start the demonstrations with Gressignham Duck; coastal chef Chris Crubrough, Franck Pontais and Madalene Bonvini-Hamel from British Larder in Meton will also be demonstrating their culinary skills.
New this year is Eat Street, a public catering avenue lined either side with stalls producing and selling freshly prepared meals ranging from stone baked pizzas, chilli, paella and sausages to filled baguettes, deli foods and curries. Families can select a different meal and then all sit together at picnic tables whilst enjoying music played from the bandstand.
