Disabled facilities at the Show
We aim to ensure that visitors with disabilities enjoy their day at the Suffolk Show. Our policy on admission for disabled visitors is that whilst they are charged the appropriate full price admission, an accompanying carer is admitted at no cost. In terms of access on the day, all our Stewards and Car Park staff have been briefed to allow blue badge holders access to forward car parking in all our car parks. These spaces are available on a first come first served basis. Should no more spaces be available, all our staff and stewards will allow you to drop off at the entrance before directing you to the nearest available parking space.
Mobility scooters are available to hire from Event Mobility. You are strongly advised to book these in advance and Event Mobility can be contacted on 01386 725391. The Event Mobility'stand is near the Nacton Entrance.
The show provides a Centre for Disabled People marquee just inside the Nacton entrance at stand number 494. The Centre for Disabled People is a dedicated hospitality area and meeting point for disabled people and their carers. Refreshments are available at a nominal charge and all profits will go to a Regional Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit and a Regional Brain Injuries Unit. The centre is organised by Otley College Student Services.
A guide for disabled visitors to the show is also available before the show or from the Centre for Disabled People on the day. You can also download it or request a copy by calling 01473 707117.
