Organisers of the Flower and Garden Experience at the Suffolk Show are celebrating as all seven exhibitors that will head East next week straight from SW3 to IP3 to attend the Show have all won medals at the prestigious RHS event.

This year’s Suffolk Show has more than 100 new exhibitors and tradestands.

We took a sneak preview of the products and experiences that will be making their debut alongside all the usual favourites at Trinity Park on June 2 and 3 - and couldn’t believe the diversity that will greet visitors at the 179th event.

“People can never say the Suffolk Show is the same very year – there is so much that’s new this year,” said tradestand officer Paula Slater.

The boundaries of the Adnams’ Food and Drink Experience have moved quite literally to cope with the increased demand for stands in the area. Additional space has been created to accommodate Adnams’ new beach hut and squeeze in more food and drink stalls than ever before.

The Suffolk Agricultural Association, organisers of the Suffolk Show, has received record entries for show jumping for the Show on June 2 and 3 and this week announced that international selectors will be present for the very first time.

The new Flower and Garden Experience senior steward, Stephen Miles picks up the trowel for this year’s Show. The Great Ashfield farmer has taken over from John Dyter who retired after more than 35 years last year and is looking forward to seeing all the new stands and exhibits in the area.
