School Farm Country Fair
It’s the 10th anniversary of the School Farm and Country Fair on April 21.
Since the pioneering event was held in 2001, when Foot and Mouth prevented the Suffolk Show happening, more than 40,000 children aged between 7-9 years old have enjoyed a day at Trinity Park getting their hands dirty and learning where their food comes from and, for many, come up close and stroke animals for the first time in their lives.
Were you one of the first individuals who attended that day?
If so, Hannah Woods, the education officer would like you to call and tell her your memories of the day and if you are in a career in a rural or agriculturally related industry as a result of the experience or if you know anyone that was present please ask them to get in touch on 01473 707118 or e-mail hannah.woods@suffolkshow.co.uk
