Education

The Suffolk Agricultural Association aims to raise the profile of the food and farming industry to the general public and to act as a route for communication between the Association, its members, the farming and non-farming communities and schools.

This Association is committed to working with teachers and young people to enhance their understanding of food, farming and related countryside businesses. Programmes such as the School Farm Link Project, the Schools Competition and the School Farm Fair offer exciting opportunities for younger children to gain an understanding of agricultural and countryside issues. In addition to these established schemes we are working on new initiatives, meeting the requirements of the National Curriculum, aimed at older school and college students.
